INSPIRATION BEHIND THE COLLECTION
The Sunflower Collection captures the radiant beauty and energy of its namesake. It’s hard not to smile looking at sunflowers, with their ridiculously bright and happy faces. Turning towards the sun, as though to remind the rest of us to look towards the light and be forever optimistic.
“Last year I planted sunflowers in my garden, watching them evolve from seedlings to fully grown. Only when they blossomed did I remember why they are called girasol in French (sun turning). My neighbors got to enjoy the blooms while I got to understand that, from whatever perspective, sunflowers make me smile,” said Founder and CEO Michael Aram.

ABOUT MICHAEL ARAM
Michael Aram creates beautiful and distinctive objects for the home. After taking a life-altering trip to India in 1989 where he discovered rich metalworking traditions, Aram turned his artistic vision towards craft-based design, setting up a home and workshop in New Delhi.
Most recognized for his signature metal gift and tabletop offerings, Aram also designs large-scale sculptures, furniture, lighting, home fragrance, textiles, porcelain and fine jewelry. Aram splits his time between his workshop in India and his New York City studio.
